“Following the initial district Court decision, the Judge asked me to prepare an expert witness paper of the case for consideration. I did so, and it remains the only serious independent examination of this event. MNZ took a High Court case to prevent my paper being used in Court, and succeeded on District court timing technicalities. This proves in my view that MNZ was after prosecution at any cost, not valid maritime debate and justice. My papers are freely available at MLAANZ, the court system, or from me.”
Julian Joy’s report was covered in posts January, February & March of this year.

Through-out the series of applications for Rehearings & Appeals, Crown Law for Maritime New Zealand, vigorously opposed the introduction of Julian Joy’s Report because it exposed the unprofessional behavior of all of the prosecution witnesses, their perversion of the course of Justice, perjury & misleading of Judge Davis.
Julian Joy’s Report backed 100% the evidence of Bolton
it is unfortunate that Maritime New Zealand failed to notify Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC)
& chose instead to take advantage of a nautically unknowledgeable District Court Judge Davis.
